Transporting two boilers to Egypt

A team of about 15 men was necessary for a complex exceptional transport operation. This involved the handling of two boilers (13.20 x 6.00 x 5.50) each weighing in at 110 tons.  The journey began in Peschiera Borromeo, in the province of Milan, and reached the port of Cremona by road, where the load was transferred to a river barge for the trip to Chioggia,  with the final destination being Egypt.

Two simultaneous journeys of about 100 km, with 2 modular axles, with 12 drawbars each, pulled by a tractor. The transportation difficulties mainly concerned the height of the load, as well as the outsize width of the equipment.
